FTIFA are well aware of the scams that are present on the web these days. As we are part of Fleetwood Town Football Club (FTFC) we have a proud club reputation to uphold & failure to do this will bring FTFC into disrepute.
FTFC scouting teams will be onsite daily & will liaise regularly with FTIFA coaches. FTIFA’s games programme will be against clubs whose scouts will be in attendance. Your success is our success so it is our aim to give you as much exposure as possible!
If you are approached by any club including FTFC, we have a designated, experienced member of staff in place to handle the process smoothly. If you are offered a contract at a club, FTFC employ an agent who can look after your needs or alternatively you can arrange your own.
FTIFA have the unique opportunity to approach FTFC’s extensive list of partner clubs, across six continents, to identify a club playing at a level more suitable to their ability. This is available for players we feel will have a chance of gaining a playing contract & we cannot offer this if we feel you do not possess the required standard.
Simply inform FTIFA in writing of how long you wish to extend for & we will make it happen.
If you book a particular date but then are unable to arrive, we will simply move your booking to another date at your convenience. Providing you have notified us in reasonable time there will be no extra cost.
FTIFA do not issue or guarantee VISA’s to Non-EU Citizens, you must follow procedures through your local consulate/agency. We strongly advise that you check if you are eligible for a VISA before booking your course as no refunds can be made under any circumstances.
All FTIFA players are insured for football/sports-related injuries whilst on our training or match programme. Injuries sustained in a player’s personal time are not covered for any costs accrued.
This must be purchased in your homeland in advance of arriving in the UK & cover the duration of your stay. FTIFA accept no responsibility for anything other than football/sports-related injuries during course hours.
Players will have access to the club physiotherapists as part of the programme at no extra cost to themselves.
FTIFA prices do not include flights.
FTIFA will provide airport arrival/departure transfers to & from The Lodge Hotel, Blackpool, from the following destinations:
- Liverpool airport
- Manchester airport
- Preston railway station
- Blackpool railway station
Our club hotel rooms sleep one, two or four, include WiFi, a TV & are en-suite.
Yes. Players will have access to a washing machine to do their own washing as per FTFC rules for the club’s scholars.
FTIFA have a designated welfare officer to discuss any queries you may have.
FTIFA players sign up to a full board programme which includes three meals per day.
FTIFA respect the beliefs of all religions. Please make us aware prior to arrival of any food requirements you may have.
English is the main language spoken.
Players on 12-week, 24-week or longer programmes will be provided with a full kit package including training & presentation wear. For players with FTIFA for less than 12 weeks you have the option to buy a FTIFA kit package. All players will be expected to bring their own boots/cleats.
It is a FTIFA requirement to hand over your passport on arrival so we can put it in a club safe to ensure it does not get lost.
