FTIFA head out to hungary

Fleetwood Town International Football Academy is excited to head out to Hungary later this month (18th May 2019) to meet club delegates and owner/chairman of Vác FC, John Marshall.

The academy is delighted to be invited out to Hungary to meet John and the team at Vác FC. We are intrigued and excited to see the wonderful work that has been taking place over at Vác FC and how we can support each other both on and off the pitch moving forwards.

John, a self – made entrepreneur from Liverpool took on the project of gaining full ownership of Vác FC in October 2012 combining his love and passion for football and his knowledge of the real estate industry.

Vác FC will be celebrating its 120th anniversary June this year and with two back to back promotions (as champions) between 2013 and 2015 following John’s takeover in 2012, it’s no wonder. John’s stewardship has taken Budapest-based Vác FC from the brink, back to the Hungarian second tier enjoying the comfort of mid-table with an eye firmly on another promotion.

We look forward to our visit and looking at what the future can bring working together.
