Fleetwood Town International Football Academy launches its first African base in 2023, in beautiful Hout Bay, Cape Town.
Following on from the successful FTIFA Academies in England and Dubai, with hundreds of graduates of whom many are already playing professional football, FTIFA Cape Town is set to be the leading residential academy of its type in the country.

Bought by the current owner Andy Pilley in 2004, Fleetwood Town started a record-breaking journey up English football’s pyramid with six promotions in just ten seasons. They currently sit in EFL League One, just two leagues below the English Premier League.

Aside from the meteoric rise of Jamie Vardy who was sold to Leicester City FC in 2012 and went on to win the EPL & play in the 2018 World Cup, Fleetwood Town have a world wide reputation for producing young talent, with seven current young internationals in the squad. In 2022 alone 15 club-developed players have appeared for the first team, with three moving up into higher divisions. Including James Hill England U20 Captain who now plays in the EPL for AFC Bournemouth.
